Jeff Camp Appointed Regional Sales Manager

Loveland, OH – December 11 – Jeff Camp has been named Regional Sales Manager in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan for Safe-Grain, Inc., according to Scott Chant, President. In his new position, Camp will be responsible for the sales of Safe-Grain products and services by training and quoting to customers and reseller partners. Camp will also provide after-sale project management until installation and commissioning are complete, as well as technical and diagnostics support.

Safe-Grain, Inc. designs and manufactures products for the management of stored grain, including grain temperature reading hardware and software, flat and hopper bottom aeration systems, drive-over floors, roof exhaust fans and power vents, fan silencers, grain level detection, as well as dust control systems.

Prior to his employment with Safe-Grain, Inc. Camp was employed with well-known grain industry companies including Countrymark Cooperatives, Inc., Cargill, InterSystems, and Pepper Maintenance Systems Inc. He most recently held a position with Whirlpool Corporation.

Camp studied Agricultural Business at Owens Technical College in Toledo, Ohio.

A native of Ohio, Camp and his wife reside in Northwest Ohio where in his spare time he enjoys riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and model railroading.

Safe-Grain, Inc. Introduces Radar Continuous Level Monitoring

Loveland, OH, January 13 – Safe-Grain, Inc.’s new RadarTrack™ has been selected by GEAPS for the What’s New program 2017 presented at the annual GEAPS Expo, according to Scott Chant, President. Chant will be the guest speaker presenting the new product’s features and benefits to an expected large audience.

RadarTrack™ Continuous Level Monitor

RadarTrack continuously measures fill levels in concrete or steel storage silos and bins. It can be mounted on a flat or sloped roof and above a flat or hopper bottom structure.

RadarTrack utilizes a narrow, 4 degree 78 GHz beam to achieve greater accuracy. It is not influenced by fixed obstructions or suspended dust. With a simple two-wire connection and mounting flange, installation is easy.

RadarTrack can be integrated with the SafeTrack™ wireless temperature system, a PLC system, or with a standalone display. It may be hard wired or wirelessly connected to the monitoring system. It conforms to the requirements of FM/CSA Class II Div 1, Class I Div 2; ATEX II 1D, 1/2D, 2D, ATEX II 3G, IECEx.

Maxi-Tronic, Inc. Appoints Mark Myers as Marketing Director

Mark Myers – Marketing Director

Loveland, OH – November 15 – Mark Myers has been named Marketing Director at Maxi-Tronic, Inc., according to Scott Chant, President.

In his new position, Myers will be responsible for the development of resources to help promote the sale and use of Safe-Grain™ and Maxi-Tronic™ products.

He will also help to coordinate after-sale support services and assist in the enhancement of Safe-Grain, Inc. product lines.

Maxi-Tronic, Inc. designs and manufactures products for hazard monitoring and management of conveyors and stored grain, including temperature, motion, flow, and level detection, as well as controllers, software, aeration and dust control systems.

Prior to his employment with Maxi-Tronic Myers had 40 years of experience in both domestic and international sales management, as well as with the design, sales, and construction of facilities for the storage and processing of grain and other materials.

In a joint effort with Safe-Grain / Maxi-Tronic, Inc. and others Myers developed educational resources widely presented to port facilities, grain storage and feed mill managers and technicians in Europe, Asia, Central and South America and Mexico.

Myers has worked in over thirty countries worldwide. He most recently held various management positions with Brock Grain Systems in Milford, IN.

Myers attended Hesston College, Hesston, KS, Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH, and Colorado Technical University, Colorado Springs, CO. He holds a degree in Business Administration.

A native of Ohio, Myers and his wife will be moving to the Indianapolis, IN area.
